🥒 Crispy Parmesan Zucchini Sticks – A Quick Snack You’ll Love

Looking for a quick and tasty snack that even your toddler might sneak a bite of? These crispy Parmesan zucchini sticks are a family favorite around here. They’re easy to whip up, oven-baked, and that garlicky sour cream dip? Totally addictive.
🛒 Ingredients:
- 1 medium zucchini
- Salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1–2 cloves garlic, minced (or garlic granules – I often use those for speed)
- Fine wheat semolina (or breadcrumbs as an alternative)
- Grated Parmesan cheese
🥒 Instructions:
- Prep the zucchini:
Peel the zucchini (optional, but I usually do), then slice it into sticks – thick or thin, totally up to you. - Draw out moisture:
Sprinkle the sticks with salt and let them sit for 5–10 minutes. This helps the zucchini release excess water and gives you a crispier result. - Make the dip & coating:
- In one bowl: mix sour cream with garlic (or garlic granules).
- In another bowl: mix semolina with grated Parmesan – this will be your coating.
- Coat the zucchini:
Dip each stick into the garlic sour cream, then roll it in the Parmesan-semolina mixture to coat. - Bake:
Arrange the coated sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes, or until golden and tender. - Serve:
Use any leftover garlic sour cream as a dip – it’s too good to waste!
👩🍳 Mom Tip:
These work great as a quick lunch side, or even an after-nap snack. You can prep the coating in advance and just dip-and-bake when hunger strikes.
